Within the framework of the “Google Cultural Institute”

As of now one does not have to travel to Vienna anymore in order to visit the Jewish Museum: With the “Google Cultural Institute” the exhibits and collections can now be viewed through the web by people around the world.

“Important building block”

“We are happy that the Jewish Museum Vienna had the opportunity to cooperate with Google Austria on this project,” said museum director Danielle Spera in a statement released on Thursday.  “This is another important step for our museum’s web- and social media strategy.” (APA)
