The library of the Jewish Museum Vienna is Austria’s largest library dedicated to the topic of Judaism. The collection consists of literature on the history, religion, and culture of Judaism, as well as poetry and fiction by female and male Jewish authors, magazines and reference works. Currently, the library comprises around 45,000 printed books, of which the oldest ones date back to the 16th century.
